Don't Craft...........

...after over indulging the night before, or if you do be prepared for the fact that it will take you hours to come up with one basic card.

I have spent most of the afternoon holed-up in my craft room shuffling bits of paper round trying to make a cards, and a the same time recover from last night.

After much paper shuffling and brew drinking I finally came up with this:

It's a fairly basic card, but you wouldn't think so if you knew the amount of time it took me to make it.

Ingredients:
Paper - K&CO Amy Butler
Spotty ribbon from local market
Papermania brad
Bulldog clip and Primas from stash
Stamped greeting (framed with nestabilities die cuts)
Pearl topped pin from local market
Inking and pen stitching

Last night's over indulgence was due to a friend's birthday (the one I made the recipe binder for). A few of us went into town for a meal and a few drinks. A good time was had by all and I also bumped into a group of old friends I haven't seen for years. We had a bit of a catch-up, well as much as you can in a very loud 80's theme bar!

Off now to watch some Jonathon Creek I think. I found the DVDs of the two old Christmas specials cheap on the interweb the other day so treated myself.

Cheers
Ruthie x
