Still no snow, so I made cards!

Well snow is completely absent at Crafty Blogger HQ so no opportunity to make snowmen so I've made a couple of cards to amuse myself instead. I've got a couple of male friends birthdays coming up so I've had to do the dreaded men cards instead of lovely girly ones.

First one is for a friend who is restoring his MG Midget. I googled the pic, which is an advert from the late 1970s, and used photoshop to add the faces of him and his wife, but I left him with the nice original 1970s Kevin Keegan style perm.
The second one is a pretty standard male beer card:

Ingredients:

MG Card
Googled pic
Orange Basic grey paper (the one from Gypsy I think)
Dymo tape
Spiral clip from Crafts by Carolyn
Brads from an old stash of Queen & Co ones
Inking and stitching to finish

Beer Card
Felt pint cut with QK Beer Mug die
AMM Patterned paper
Bazzil card
Brown ribbon and string from stash
More old Queen & Co brads
Tag cut using a cuttlebug die
Inking and pen stitching
and dare I say it....................peel off greeting

Cheers,

Ruthie x
